West Central Owsley County in southeastern Kentucky... * Until 530 PM EDT. * At 431 PM EDT, Emergency management reports continued flash flooding in McKee. Between 3.5 and 7 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected in the near term. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... McKee, Atkinstown, Bradshaw, Gray Hawk, Olin, Macedonia, Dabolt, Mildred, Shop Branch, Hurley, Privett, Settle Store, Annville, Deese, Turkey Foot, Bond, Tyner, Welchburg, Cornelius and Zekes Point.
