Description: 
At 709 AM CDT, Heavy rain is slowly departing the area. 2 to 4 inches of additional rainfall occurred, bringing the two day total to up to 8 to 12 inches of rain. Spotters report flooding throughout parts of Daviess and eastern Henderson County. High water will likely persist and possibly worsen for the next few hours. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Trained spotters reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Owensboro, Whitesville, Stanley, Masonville, St. Joseph, Knottsville, Moseleyville and Hebbardsville.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
