At 1138 AM EDT, Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen across the area over the past 3 hours. While the heaviest rain has exited the area, excessive runoff from previous heavy rainfall will continue to cause localized flash flooding in low lying areas. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Monticello, Oil Valley, Cooper, Steubenville, Barrier, Coopersville, Parnell, Gregory, Rockeybranch, Susie, Zula, Kidds Crossing, Denney, Cabell, Delta and Ritner.
