Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of central and south central Kentucky, including
the following counties, in central Kentucky, Green and Hart. In
south central Kentucky, Adair, Barren, Clinton, Cumberland,
Metcalfe and Russell.
* WHEN...Until 630 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated
with water and may not be passable. It will take several hours for
all the water from these storms to work through local drainage
systems in urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1235 PM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain in
the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already
occurring.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Columbia, Greensburg, Three Springs, Horse Cave, Cave City,
Keltner, Mell, Pickett, Weed and Fry.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
