Green River at Rochester affecting Butler, Ohio and Muhlenberg Counties. .Heavy rain from the past few days and will cause the river to rise. Additional rises will be seen on the river due to releases at Nolin River Lake. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Green River at Rochester. * WHEN...For Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 34.0 feet, Rochester Ferry stops operation. At 37.0 feet, Reeds and Rochester Ferries remain closed. KY 369 floods one mile north of Rochester. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 36.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 34.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Thursday morning to a crest of 37.5 feet early Friday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday morning. - Flood stage is 37.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 39.0 feet on 03/22/2020. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
