At 932 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Ponchatoula, or 7 miles southeast of Hammond, moving north at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Hammond, Amite, Ponchatoula, Amite City, Independence, Albany,
Springfield, Montpelier, Natalbany, Robert, Killian, Tickfaw, and W
Lk Pontchartrain Buoy.
