Description:
At 414 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Ringgold, or 20 miles south of Minden, moving northwest at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Ringgold, Doyline, Heflin, Jamestown, Plum Orchard Landing, Lake
Bistineau North, Noles Landing, Ogden, Lake Bistineau South, Curtis
and Koran.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
