At 723 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts over marine areas 14 miles northwest of Dulac, or 15 miles southwest of Houma, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous waters. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Houma around 740 AM CDT. Bayou Cane around 745 AM CDT.
