At 214 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near French Settlement, or 12 miles southeast of Denham Springs, moving south at 30 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Gonzales, Sorrento, French Settlement, Port Vincent, and Whitehall. This includes Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 176 and 182.
