...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Louisiana...
Bogue Falaya River At Boston St in Covington affecting St. Tammany
Parish.
Bogue Falaya River At Camp Covington affecting St. Tammany Parish.
.The river forecast includes 48 hours of forecasted rainfall. These
river forecasts could change based on how Tropical Storm Arthur or
its remnants tracks across Louisiana and Mississippi late tonight and
Thursday. Interests along the rivers should monitor the forecast
closely and be prepared for significant flooding.
For the Bogue Falaya...including Camp Covington, Boston St in
Covington...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Bogue Falaya River at Camp Covington.
* WHEN...Until Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 45.0 feet, Water will encroach residential property in
the vicinity of the gage. Residences on the east bank near the
river will be threatened. Water will cover entrance driveways to
property on the east bank.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 40.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 35.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early
tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 45.5 feet tomorrow evening. It
will then fall below flood stage early Friday morning.
- Flood stage is 45.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 45.4
feet on 05/12/2021.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.

Weather Service when you can do so safely.
