For the Bogue Chitto River...including Tylertown, Franklinton, Bush...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Bogue Chitto River at Franklinton. * WHEN...From this evening to Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Bogue Chitto Heights Subdivision will begin to flood. Some homes will be damaged. Homes on the west bank north of Louisiana Highway 10 will flood. It is recommended that sand and gravel operations be stopped and equipment secured. Access roads to recreational areas will flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 5.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening and continue rising to a crest of 15.5 feet tomorrow evening.
