For the Amite And Comite Rivers...including Comite Joor Rd, Denham
Springs, Bayou Manchac Point, Port Vincent...Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Amite River at Denham Springs.
* WHEN...Until late Monday night.
* IMPACTS...At 30.0 feet, Flooding will begin in the westernmost
parts of Denham Springs. River Road at the foot of Benton Lane will
flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 30.6 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 24.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 7:15 PM CDT Thursday was 30.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 31.0 feet
Saturday evening. It will then fall below flood stage late Monday
evening.
- Flood stage is 29.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 31.0
feet on 02/22/1991.

Instruction:
