* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall will continue. * WHERE...A portion of central Louisiana, including the following parishes, Avoyelles, Evangeline and St. Landry. * WHEN...Until 600 PM CDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1030 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 5 and 15 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... mainly rural areas of Southwestern Avoyelles, East Central Evangeline and North Central St. Landry Parishes - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Keep children away from storm drains, culverts, creeks and streams. Water levels can rise rapidly and sweep children away.
