Southern Tangipahoa Parish in southeastern Louisiana... * Until 345 PM CDT. * At 254 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Ponchatoula, or 9 miles south of Hammond, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Ponchatoula, Springfield, Killian, and W Lk Pontchartrain Buoy.
