At 152 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Bucksport, moving southeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. At 1:43 PM a 60 mph wind gust was reported at Bangor International Airport. IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines. Locations impacted include... Bangor, Ellsworth, Bucksport, Orono, Brewer, Hampden, Hermon, Veazie, Dedham, Penobscot Township, Orrington, Holden, Carmel, Orland, Eddington, Newburgh, Surry, Clifton, Otis, and Mariaville. This includes the following highways... Interstate 95 between mile markers 174 and 189. US Highway 1 near Orland. State Highway 9 between Newburgh and East Eddington.
