SVRCAR The National Weather Service in Caribou Maine has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... West central Piscataquis County in north central Maine... * Until 330 PM EDT. * At 244 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles northwest of Seboomook to 7 miles northwest of Rockwood to 8 miles east of Jackman, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind damage to trees and power lines. * Locations impacted include... Northeast Carry, Chesuncook, Lobster Township, Lobster Lake, Rockwood, Spencer Bay, North East Carry, Mount Kineo, and Lily Bay.
Instruction: 
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. If on or near Lobster Lake, get away from the water and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
