At 417 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles northeast of
South Branch Pond, or 22 miles north of Mount Katahdin, moving
northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind
damage to trees and power lines.

Oxbow, Moosehorn Crossing, Baxter State Park, Grand Lake Matagamon,
Grand Lake Seboeis, and Saint Croix.
