Northeastern Dorchester County in southeastern Maryland... * Until 700 PM EDT. * At 624 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Sharptown, or 7 miles southeast of Hurlock, moving northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of north central Wicomico and northeastern Dorchester Counties, including the following locations... Eldorado, Galestown, and Brookview.
