Description:
At 228 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Harpers Ferry,
or 7 miles southeast of Charles Town, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to
fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage
homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed
trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured
light objects may become projectiles.

Charles Town, Purcellville, Brunswick, Ranson, Harpers Ferry,
Corporation Of Ranson, Lovettsville, Bolivar, Rosemont, Brownsville,
Hillsboro, Waterford, Neersville, Halltown, Knoxville, Pleasantville,
Millville, and Taylorstown.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for north central
Maryland.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
