Description:
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast Michigan, including the following
counties, Monroe and Wayne.
* WHEN...Until 345 AM EDT Monday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 944 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a persistent area of
moderate to heavy rain slowly moving across the area. This
will cause urban and small stream flooding.
- Additional rainfall amounts of up to 1 to 2 inches will be
possible over the area. This additional rain will result in
minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Warren, Livonia, Taylor, Romulus, Flat Rock, Carleton,
Downtown Detroit, Detroit, Dearborn, Wyandotte, Trenton,
Grosse Ile, Belleville, Greenfield Village, Belle Isle,
Westland, Dearborn Heights, Lincoln Park, Southgate and Allen
Park.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
