* At 1059 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 22 miles northwest of Sleeping Bear Point to near
Empire, moving east at 60 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

Instruction:

vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles from the
