At 621 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Northville to Greenfield Village to Carleton to near Temperance, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. These severe storms will be near... Livonia, Taylor, Monroe, Flat Rock, Detroit, Dearborn, Wyandotte, Trenton, Luna Pier, and Greenfield Village around 625 PM EDT. Downtown Detroit and Grosse Ile around 630 PM EDT. Belle Isle around 635 PM EDT. Grosse Pointe around 640 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Newport, Melvindale, Gibraltar, Erie, New Boston, Woodland Beach, Stony Point, Bolles Harbor, Rockwood, and Samaria.
