Description:
At 545 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from 5 miles west of Kasota to 11 miles
southeast of Pine Island, or extending from 9 miles northwest of
Mankato to 31 miles south of Red Wing, moving north at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mankato, Faribault, Northfield, Red Wing, Burnsville, Lakeville,
Apple Valley, Savage, Prior Lake, Farmington, North Mankato, St.
Peter, New Prague, Belle Plaine, Jordan, Cannon Falls, Le Sueur,
Lonsdale and Pine Island.
