...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR FAR NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND THE SUPERIOR NATIONAL FOREST... The National Weather Service in Duluth has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from 11 AM to 10 PM CDT Monday. A Fire Weather Watch has also been issued. This Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity is in effect from Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday evening. * AFFECTED AREA...In Minnesota, Koochiching, North St. Louis and Northern Cook and Lake. * WINDS...Southwest 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph on Monday. Northwest 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph on Tuesday. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 21 percent on both Monday and Tuesday. * IMPACTS...The rapid spread of any fires may occur due to the forecast weather conditions and dry fuels per guidance from local land management agencies.
