South Branch Root River at Lanesboro affecting Fillmore and Houston Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...South Branch Root River at Lanesboro. * WHEN...Until Friday evening. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, The river begins to overflow the left bank downstream from the foot bridge where the gage is located. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 10.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 12.7 feet this evening.
