South Branch Root River at Lanesboro affecting Houston and Fillmore Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...South Branch Root River at Lanesboro. * WHEN...Until Friday evening. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, The river begins to overflow the left bank downstream from the foot bridge where the gage is located. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 11.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.0 feet just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.0 feet on 04/01/1993. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
