Description:
At 943 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over northwestern
White Earth Nation, or 39 miles north of Detroit Lakes, moving
northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Fosston, Mahnomen, McIntosh, Island Lake in Mahnomen County, Winger,
Bejou, and Lengby.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for northwestern
Minnesota. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 100 AM CDT
for northwestern Minnesota.

building.
