At 1008 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Fosston, or 36
miles west of Bemidji, moving northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Fosston, Island Lake in Mahnomen County, Lengby, Olga, and northern
White Earth Nation.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for northwestern
Minnesota. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 100 AM CDT
for northwestern Minnesota.
