Description:
* WHAT...Isolated minor coastal flooding expected.
* WHERE...The lagoon side of eastern reefs of Majuro.
* WHEN...Through late tonight.
* IMPACTS...Some water on low-lying roads and property.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A long fetch of west winds will cause
unusual west swells for Majuro Atoll, further elevated by a
westerly wind burst feeding into Invest Area 95W. The lagoon
side of the eastern reefs could be particularly susceptible,
and these areas are rarely affected.
Instruction:
Take action to protect life and property, such as bringing in
small objects that could be borne away by water if it comes in.
Remember, because this is west winds and west swell, it will be
the lagoon side of the eastern shores that will have some of the
biggest effects.
