Description:
* WHAT...Areas of dense fog will reduce visibility to 1/4 NM or
less at times.
* WHERE...Nearshore Waters from Sheboygan to Port Washington. Open
waters north of a Port Washington WI to Whitehall MI line and
along / south of Washington Island.
* WHEN...Until 11 AM CDT this morning.
* IMPACTS...Low visibility will make navigation difficult.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Dense fog has been confirmed by shoreline
cameras on the west edge of the lake as well as reports from an
open waters vessel. Model guidance suggests a gradual decrease
in fog intensity and coverage later this morning.
Instruction:
If you must navigate, proceed with caution. Use proper fog
signals. Make sure all running lights are on. Remember to use
your radar and compass.
