Description:
* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 8 to 10 fet.
* WHERE...South and west facing reefs of Chuuk.
* WHEN...Until 5 AM ChST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
localized beach erosion.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The west swell that is being produced by
Super Typhoon Bavi (09W) is producing hazardous surf through
at least Tuesday as it tracks west, passing far north of
Weno.
Instruction:
Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.
