Road flooding could still be ongoing. * WHAT...Urban areas and small streams flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE...Northwestern Hancock County in southern Mississippi... Southwestern Pearl River County in southern Mississippi... * WHEN...Until 500 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. It will take a few hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 118 PM CDT, Emergency management reported flooding in numerous roads in Picayune and surrounding areas are flooded. Some vehicles were stalled. Do not drive through flooded roads. Flooding is already occurring. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
