For the Tchoutacabouffa River...including D'Iberville...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Tchoutacabouffa River above D'Iberville. * WHEN...From late tonight to Saturday evening. * IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Flooding will close most roads, including the Cyprus Creek Road bridge across the river at the Harrison-Jackson county line. Homes below Cyprus Creek west of Mississippi Highway 67 will remain flooded and the Lamey Bridge Road east of the River will remain closed. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 2.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 15.5 feet early tomorrow afternoon then begin falling. - Flood stage is 8.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.4 feet on 03/31/1980. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
