Mississippi...
Pearl River At Jackson affecting Rankin and Hinds Counties.
Pearl River Above Philadelphia affecting Neshoba County.
Tuscolameta Creek At Walnut Grove affecting Leake County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Tuscolameta Creek at Walnut Grove.
* WHEN...Until late Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, Agricultural land along the river is
flooding.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 26.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Thursday afternoon and continue falling to 16.2 feet Sunday
evening.
- Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
