Pearl River Near Rockport affecting Simpson and Copiah Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Pearl River near Monticello. * WHEN...Until early Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Water appears in low areas in the extreme eastern portion of the city of Monticello. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was 23.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is near crest and expected to be steady through tomorrow, before beginning a slow fall. - Flood stage is 22.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 23.5 feet on 02/20/2012. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
