* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Northern Franklin County in east central Missouri...
* WHEN...Until 1015 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 758 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated the heavy rain has ended
for the time being. However, runoff from earlier rain continues
and flooding is still a threat. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Washington, Union, Pacific, New Haven, Villa Ridge, Gray Summit,
Berger and Lyon.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
