* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southwest Missouri, including the following counties, Dallas, Greene and Polk. * WHEN...Until 1130 AM CDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 527 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 5 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Northern Springfield, Bolivar, Strafford, Willard, Ash Grove, Fair Grove, Walnut Grove, Pleasant Hope, Morrisville, Aldrich, Brighton, Ebenezer, Sacville, Glidewell, Cave Springs, Eudora, Bassville, Olive, Foose, March and Stockton Lake. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
