Description:
At 614 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated the thunderstorms which
produced heavy rain across the warned area have largely ended.
However, runoff from the storms is still occurring. Between 1 and 3
inches of rain have fallen. Be aware of ongoing flash flooding.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

O'Fallon, St. Charles, St. Peters, Dardenne Prairie, Weldon Spring,
Cottleville, St. Paul, Weldon Spring Heights, Harvester and
Kampville.

First Missouri State Capitol Historic Site.
This includes Interstate 70 in Missouri between exits 216 and 229.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
