Southern Madison County in southeastern Missouri... * Until 900 AM CDT. * At 648 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 5 and 10 inches of rain have fallen in southwest Madison County. The expected rainfall rate is 1 inch in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated.
