Southern Madison County in southeastern Missouri... * Until 1100 AM CDT. * At 807 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Route C near FF is closed due to high flood waters. Between 5 and 10 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 inch in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding.
