River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Meramec River near Arnold. * WHEN...Until late Friday night. * IMPACTS...At 24.7 feet, Hawkins Road south of Meramec Bottom Road begins flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 23.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 24.7 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage late Thursday evening. - Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
