Warning for the following rivers in Missouri...
Sac River near Caplinger Mills affecting Cedar County.
For the Sac River...including Caplinger Mills...Moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast due to overnight
thunderstorms.
* WHERE...Sac River near Caplinger Mills.
* WHEN...From late tonight to early Sunday morning.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 9.7 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
just after midnight tonight to a crest of 22.5 feet tomorrow
evening. It will then fall below flood stage late Saturday
evening.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
22.5 feet on 05/04/2017.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
