River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Hinkson Creek at Columbia. * WHEN...From this evening to Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 17.7 feet, Height of the soccer practice field, protected by a levee to about 25.5 feet. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 9.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 16.9 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage late tonight. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
