River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Black River near Annapolis. * WHEN...Until Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, One house on Cirle Drive in Lesterville will flood near this height. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:15 PM CDT Friday the stage was 19.1 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:15 PM CDT Friday was 28.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Monday morning and continue falling to 4.8 feet Wednesday evening. - Flood stage is 8.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 18.9 feet on 02/10/1966.
