Missouri...
Meramec River at Pacific.
River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Meramec River at Pacific.
* WHEN...Until late Tuesday night.
* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, State Highway AK begins flooding near the
intersection with State Highway O near this height.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 17.2 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 9:00 AM CDT Monday was 17.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late
this evening and continue falling to 0.3 feet Sunday morning.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
