At 244 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from near Jefferson City to 22 miles south of St. Thomas, or along a line from near Jefferson City to 35 miles southwest of Linn, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Brazito, Jefferson City, St. Thomas, Meta, Wardsville, Holts Summit, Taos, Lake Mykee Town, Lake Mykee, New Bloomfield, Argyle, Westphalia, Freeburg, Loose Creek, Bonnots Mill, Rich Fountain, Linn, Mokane and Chamois. Those attending Salute To America in Jefferson City are also in the path of these storms and should prepare for IMMINENT DANGEROUS WEATHER CONDITIONS. SEEK SHELTER NOW!
