Description:
At 516 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Portageville, moving southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Caruthersville, Portageville, Hayti, Reelfoot Lake State Park,
Tiptonville, Ridgely, Troy, Obion, Clayton, Bolton, Cloverdale,
Miston, Cottonwood Grove, Hornbeak, Rives, Samburg, Cat Corner,
Elbridge, Jacksonville, and Broadmoor.
This includes Interstate 55 in Missouri between mile markers 18 and
31.
