Description:
Thunderstorms with very heavy rain will produce localized flooding
across the area this evening.
* WHAT...Areas of flooding caused by excessive rainfall are expected.
* WHERE...Musselshell County in central Montana...
Northeastern Yellowstone County in south central Montana...
Northern Rosebud County in southeastern Montana...
Northern Treasure County in southeastern Montana...
* WHEN...Until 1130 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Expect localized flooding in low-lying and poor drainage
areas, rises in small streams and normally dry drainages, ponding
of water in urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 836 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly
in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen,
and pockets of very heavy rain continue.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the
area. This additional rain will result in areas of flooding.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Roundup, Hysham, Melstone, Musselshell, Klein and Ingomar.
- The heaviest rain is occurring north of Interstate 94.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles. Do not drive on or attempt to cross flooded
roads, find an alternate route. Roads and driveways may be damaged or
washed out in places.
