Description:
Thunderstorms are producing very heavy rain, especially north and
east of Billings. Localized urban and small stream flooding is
expected.
* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Central Yellowstone County in south central Montana...
* WHEN...Until 1215 AM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 957 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This may cause localized urban and small stream
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Billings, Huntley, Shepherd, Lockwood and Billings Heights.
- Heaviest rain is north and east of downtown Billings.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles. Do not drive on or attempt to cross flooded
roads, find an alternate route. Roads and driveways may be damaged or
washed out in places.
