Description:
At 1100 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms
along a line extending from 27 miles west of Choteau to 29 miles
northwest of Augusta. Movement was southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, lightning, and a short period of
heavy rainfall.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Gibson and Pishkun Reservoirs.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Brief heavy rainfall is also likely with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
